བསམ་དོན་ཀུན་འགྲུབ། Fulfilling All Wishes

ཨེ་མ་ཧོ། སྣང་བའི་དངོས་ཀུན་པདྨ་འོད་ཀྱི་ཞིང་།།

é ma ho! nang wé ngö kün pema ö kyi zhing

Emaho! Everything that appears is the realm of Lotus Light,

ཕུན་ཚོགས་ངོ་མཚར་བཀོད་པ་འབྱམས་ཀླས་པའི།།

pün tsok ngo tsar kö pa jam lé pé

A perfectly amazing and boundless display.

མདུན་གྱི་ནམ་མཁར་ཡིད་འཕྲོག་མཆོད་སྤྲིན་དབུས།།

dün gyi nam khar yi trok chö trin ü

In front of us, in the middle of a cloud of pleasing offerings,

སེང་ཁྲི་ཆུ་སྐྱེས་ཉི་ཟླའི་གདན་གྱི་སྟེང་།།

seng tri chu kyé nyi dé den gyi teng

Sitting upon a lion throne, lotus, and sun and moon seat,

རྩ་བའི་བླ་མ་ཨོ་རྒྱན་རིན་པོ་ཆེ།།

tsa wé la ma or gyen rin po ché

Is our root guru, the Precious One from Oḍḍiyāna.

དཀར་དམར་མདངས་ལྡན་མཚན་དང་དཔེ་བྱད་རྫོགས།།

kar mar dang den tsen dang pé jé dzok

He has a rosy white complexion, and he bears the major and minor marks.

བཅུ་དྲུག་ན་ཚོད་ཞི་ཁྲོའི་ཉམས་བརྒྱར་འབར།།

chu druk na tsö zhi trö nyam gyar bar

Sixteen years old, blazing with a hundred peaceful and wrathful expressions,

ཕྱག་གཡས་རྡོ་རྗེ་གཡོན་པས་ཐོད་བུམ་བསྣམས།།

chak yé dor jé yön pé tö bum nam

He holds a vajra in his right hand, in his left a vase in a skull.

གསང་ཡུམ་སྦས་ཚུལ་ཁ་ཊྭཱྃ་གཡོན་ནས་བརྟེན།།

sang yum bé tsul kha tvangam yön né ten

His secret consort hidden as the trident resting in his left arm,

དབུ་ལ་པད་ཞྭ་མེ་ལོང་རྒོད་སྒྲོས་བརྒྱན།།

u la pé zha mé long gö drö gyen

And his head adorned with a lotus hat, mirror, and vulture’s feather,

སྐུ་ལ་གསང་ཕོད་ཆོས་གོས་ཟབ་བེར་བཀླུབས།།

ku la sang pö chö gö zab ber lub

He wears the secret gown, Dharma robes, and brocade cloak.

ཞབས་ཟུང་རྡོ་རྗེའི་སྐྱིལ་མོ་ཀྲུང་བཅས་ཏེ།།

zhab zung dor jé kyil mo trung ché té

His legs folded in the vajra posture,

སྣང་སྟོང་འཇའ་ཟེར་འོད་ཕུང་ཀློང་ན་བཞུགས།།

nang tong ja zer ö pung long na zhuk

He sits within an orb of rainbow light, appearing yet empty.

དམ་ཚིག་ཡེ་ཤེས་གདོད་ནས་དབྱེར་མེད་པ།།

dam tsik yé shé dö né yer mé pa

From the beginning, the commitment being has been inseparable from the wisdom being

རིག་འཛིན་བླ་མ་ཀུན་གྱི་སྤྱི་གཟུགས་ཆེ།།

rik dzin la ma kün gyi chi zuk ché

As the great embodiment of all vidyādharas and gurus.

དགེ་འདུན་འདུས་པའི་གཙུག་རྒྱན་རྡོ་རྗེའི་སྐུ།།

gé dun dü pé tsuk gyen dor jé ku

His vajra body is the crown of all saṅghas.

དམ་ཆོས་ཆར་འབེབས་སྡེ་སྣོད་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་གསུང་།།

dam chö char beb dé nö gya tsö sung

His speech is a rain of the blessed Dharma, an ocean of the piṭakas.

ཕྱོགས་བཅུའི་སངས་རྒྱས་སྲས་བཅས་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཐུགས།།

chok chu sang gyé sé ché yé shé tuk

His mind is the wisdom of the buddhas of the ten directions and their children.

ཡོན་ཏན་དགོས་འདོད་མཆོག་སྩོལ་ནོར་གྱི་ལྷ།།

yön ten gö dö chok tsöl nor gyi lha

His qualities fulfill all needs and desires like a wealth deity.

ཕྲིན་ལས་མཁའ་འགྲོ་ཆོས་སྐྱོང་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་རྗེ།།

trin lé khan dro chö kyong tsok kyi jé

His awakened activity leads the assembly of ḍākinīs and dharmapālas.

སྐྱབས་ཀུན་འདུས་པའི་ངོ་བོ་ལྷམ་མེར་གསལ།།

kyab kün dü pé ngo wo lham mer sal

Essence of all refuges, he is radiant with light. [259]

བདག་དང་མཁའ་མཉམ་འགྲོ་བ་མ་ལུས་རྣམས།།

dak dang kha nyam dro wa ma lü nam

With all the beings that fill space,

སྒོ་གསུམ་གུས་པས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་མཆོད་པ་འབུལ།།

go sum gü pé chak tsal chö pa bul

We bow and make offerings to you with our three doors, full of devotion.

སྡིག་ལྟུང་ཀུན་བཤགས་དགེ་ལ་རྗེས་ཡི་རང་།།

dik tung kün shak gé la jé yi rang

We confess all faults and downfalls, rejoice in virtue,

ཆོས་འཁོར་བསྐོར་བཞིན་རྟག་པར་བཞུགས་སུ་གསོལ།།

chö khor kor zhin tak par zhuk su söl

Request you to always remain, turning the wheel of Dharma,

དགེ་ཚོགས་བླ་མེད་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཆེན་པོར་བསྔོ།།

gé tsok la mé jang chub chen por ngo

And dedicate all virtue to supreme awakening.

ཁྱེད་ཤེས་མོས་གུས་དྲག་པོས་གསོལ་འདེབས་ན།།

khyé shé mö gü drak pö söl deb na

Think of us as we pray with fervent devotion,

བྱིན་རླབས་ཆར་ཆེན་ཕོབ་ཅིག་གུ་རུ་རྗེ།།

jin lab char chen pob chik gu ru jé

And pour on us a great shower of blessings, Lord Guru!

སྐུ་གསུམ་དབྱེར་མེད་ཨོ་རྒྱན་རིན་པོ་ཆེ།།

ku sum yer mé or gyen rin po ché

Precious One from Oḍḍiyāna, at one with the threefold body,

རབ་འབྱམས་རྩ་གསུམ་ཡོངས་ཀྱི་འཁོར་ལོས་སྒྱུར།།

rab jam tsa sum yong kyi khor lö gyur

Emperor of the infinite Three Roots,

ད་ལྟ་རྔ་ཡབ་གླིང་དུ་རྟག་བཞུགས་ཀྱང་།།

da ta nga yab ling du tak zhuk kyang

Though you now reside forever on the island of Cāmara,

ཐུགས་རྗེའི་འཇུག་པས་བོད་ལ་ལྷག་པར་དགོངས།།

tuk jé juk pé bö la lhak par gong

With your compassionate deeds, remember especially those in Tibet!

དུས་གསུམ་རྩ་བརྒྱུད་བླ་མའི་ཁྱབ་བདག་ཆེ།།

dü sum tsa gyü la mé khyab dak ché

You are the supreme lord of the lineage gurus of the three times,

འཛམ་བུའི་གླིང་འདིར་རྣམ་ཐར་བསམ་ཡས་སྟོན།།

dzam bü ling dir nam tar sam yé tön

Who displayed your inconceivable life in this land of Jambudvīpa,

སྐུ་གསུང་ཐུགས་ཡོན་ཕྲིན་ལས་རྨད་བྱུང་བ།།

ku sung tuk yön trin lé mé jung wa

And your body, speech, mind, qualities, and actions are marvelous!

རྩེ་གཅིག་གདུང་ཤུགས་དྲག་པོས་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས།།

tsé chik dung shuk drak pö söl wa deb

We pray to you one-pointedly, with intense longing:

ལུས་དང་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་ལྟོས་པ་མེད་པར་འབུལ།།

lü dang long chö tö pa mé par bul

We offer our body and wealth without a second thought.

འདི་ནས་བཟུང་སྟེ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སྙིང་པོའི་བར།།

di né zung té jang chub nying pö bar

From now until we reach the heart of awakening,

མགོན་པོ་ཁྱོད་ལས་སྐྱབས་གཞན་མ་མཆིས་པས།།

gön po khyö lé kyab zhen ma chi pé

Our protector, we have no refuge but you.

འབྲལ་མེད་རྗེས་སུ་ཟུངས་ཤིག་པདྨ་འབྱུང་།།

dral mé jé su zung shik pema jung

Please hold us and never part from us, Lotus-Born!

སྣོད་བཅུད་ཐམས་ཅད་ནད་མུག་མཚོན་འཁྲུགས་སོགས།།

nö chu tam ché né muk tsön truk sok

Plagues, famines, wars, and conflicts afflict the whole world.

སྙིགས་མའི་རྒུད་པ་སོལ་ཅིག་པདྨ་འབྱུང་།།

nyik mé gü pa söl chik pema jung

Dispel the decline of this degenerate era, Lotus-Born!

ཆར་ཆུ་དུས་འབེབས་ལོ་ཕྱུགས་རྟག་ཏུ་ལེགས།།

char chu dü beb lo chuk tak tu lek

Make rains timely, make harvests and herds thrive,

བདེ་སྐྱིད་དཔལ་ལ་སྦྱོར་ཅིག་པདྨ་འབྱུང་།།

dé kyi pal la jor chik pema jung

And grant us the splendor of bliss and happiness, Lotus-Born!

བསྟན་འཛིན་མཆོག་རྣམས་ཞབས་པད་བསྐལ་བརྒྱར་བརྟན།།

ten dzin chok nam zhab pé kal gyar ten

Make the supreme Dharma teachers remain present for a hundred eons

ཕྲིན་ལས་རྒྱས་པར་མཛོད་ཅིག་པདྨ་འབྱུང་།།

trin lé gyé par dzö chik pema jung

And their enlightened activity increase, Lotus-Born! [260]

དགེ་འདུན་སྡེ་དང་བཤད་སྒྲུབ་བསྟན་པའི་དཔལ།།

ge dün dé dang shé drub ten pé pal

Make the splendor of the saṅghas and the teachings of explanation and practice

ས་གསུམ་ཁྱབ་པར་མཛོད་ཅིག་པདྨ་འབྱུང་།།

sa sum khyab par dzö chik pema jung

Cover the three planes, Lotus-Born!

བདག་ཅག་རྣམས་ཀྱང་གེགས་ཞི་ཚེ་བསོད་རྒྱས།།

dag chak nam kyang gek zhi tsé sö gyé

Pacify our obstacles, increase our vitality and merit,

བསམ་ཀུན་འགྲུབ་པར་མཛོད་ཅིག་པདྨ་འབྱུང་།།

sam kün drub par dzö chik pema jung

And accomplish our every wish, Lotus-Born!

མཐར་ཐུག་འབྲེལ་ཚད་འགྲོ་བ་མ་ལུས་ཀུན།།

tar tuk drel tsé dro wa ma lü kün

Ultimately, may you lead everyone we meet,

དག་པའི་ཞིང་དུ་དྲོངས་ཤིག་པདྨ་འབྱུང་།།

dak pé zhing du drong shik pema jung

Without exception, to the pure land, Lotus-Born!

ཚོགས་རྫོགས་སྒྲིབ་བྱང་གསང་ཆེན་མྱུར་ལམ་ལས།།

tsok dzok drib jang sang chen nyur lam lé

By perfecting the accumulations and purifying obscurations on the swift path of the great secret,

མཆོག་གི་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ་ཅིག་པདྨ་འབྱུང་།།

chok gi ngö drub tsöl chik pema jung

Grant us the supreme siddhi, Lotus-Born!

མདོར་ན་འདི་ཕྱི་བར་དོའི་གནས་སྐབས་ཀུན།།

dor na di chi bar dö né kab kün

Throughout all the bardo stages, now and in the future,

སྐྱིད་སྡུག་ལེགས་ཉེས་བཟང་ངན་ཅི་བྱུང་ཡང་།།

kyi duk lek nyé zang ngen chi jung yang

Whatever happens, happy or sad, virtuous or faulty, good or bad,

རྩ་བའི་བླ་མ་ཨོ་རྒྱན་ཆེན་པོ་མཁྱེན།།

tsa wé la ma or gyen chen po khyen

Our root guru, Great One from Oḍḍiyāna, think of us!

བསམ་དོན་ཆོས་བཞིན་འགྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས།།

sam dön chö zhin drub par jin gyi lob

Bless us that all our wishes are accomplished in accordance with the Dharma!

ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་བཛྲ་གུ་རུ་པདྨ་སིདྡྷི་ཧཱུྃ།།

om ah hung benzra gu ru pema siddhi hung

OṀ ĀḤ HŪṀ VAJRA GURU PADMA SIDDHI HŪṀ
